First pool day!

It's June, and it's HOT! YAH!!! Finally, we got enough heat to warrant filling up the little pool! I blew up and filled up the $1 garage sale pool that I'd got last month and Katja loved it! It was a brand new pool, too! Here she is being a little munchkin in her one and only bikini!

Kiernan out there watching, but not really enjoying. He was just tired and didn't care two hoots about the pool.

I love this one of her looking up at the "palm tree". It came with 6 blow up bugs that velcro to the sides, so she likes that!

My little goof ball girl. The black spot is a piece of grass or something out of the pool - not a bug. Silly girl!

Dad's bday and Portage Conference

Mom was eating her second piece of pie on the morning of Dad's birthday. But we'd used and thrown away the plates from the night before, so we took turns eating out of the pie plate with one fork. It wasn't until the last person was eating (Trev) that we remembered the cool whip! Oh well!

At Shane and Priscilla's for the weekend of Portage conference. The kiddos in their jams!

Sunday morning, the kids dressed up in their matching outfits that Grandma and pa gave them at Easter. This is the first time they've been together since to wear them. (excuse Katja's unders)

Dad's birthday

We met Dad and Mom Sharp in Winnipeg for a night in a hotel before Portage conference. It was Dad's birthday the next day, but we didn't have a fridge, so we had his strawberry pie the night before. He was quite shocked as he'd forgotten I told him I'd make him a strawberry pie if he came out for his birthday.

Kiernan was exhausted and fell asleep after I fed him. Trev was watching the news with him on his shoulder while I got his bed ready for him to get in it. (two of my most favouritist * yes that's a word * men, ever!)

My little man sitting up all by himself. His balance is getting better, but he still needs cushioning around him just in case!

Home stuff...

Mr Kiernan in a cutie pie outfit he got at birth. I wasn't sure it was going to fit, but there have been some really cool days this spring and so it was appropriate to wear then. It has since gotten hotter, so he's into mostly shorts, etc.

Katja had an early morning one day, then went back to bed and was up again at 10:30am when Grandma dropped in. While she was here, Katja fell asleep on the floor and stayed there for over 2 hours. When she woke up, she had a high temperature and so that was the reason for so much sleeping! Though it never amounted to anything more, thankfully!

Kiernan in his favourite spot right now - his excersaucer. And chewing on one of his favourite toys, too!

Rub a dub dub, two cute kids in the tub! Katja usually wants a bath in the morning while Kiernan is sleeping, so I don't often get them in the bath together AND have a camera near by!

Family pics

I have been working on a digital photo book for the Glen Ewen Gospel Hall, and needed some recent pictures of everyone, ourselves included. It was high time for some nice pictures!

Our little family of four. This is the best picture that we've had taken of us since Kiernan was born. While neither of the kids are looking at the camera, they're looking at Rusty the dog beside Grandpa, it's still pretty good. I think, anyway...

Birthday party, etc

There was a birthday party for Riley last Friday, though his birthday isn't for a few weeks. Both Trev and Riley are turning 30 this year!!! I made the cake since Amanda didn't want to and I had seen this one and wanted to try it out, though a snake really has nothing to do with turning 30. Here are the birthday boys with the cake that says "It'ssss Riley'sssss 30th... and Trev'sssss too!" (that's in Snake lingo, btw)

Spring
