Another picnic

Yesterday (Saturday), we went for another picnic. This time the snow had melted more and it was warmer, but we had a grumper along, so we couldn't stay as long as we'd've liked to. Katja watching the fire while Daddy gets more wood.
This is at the same location as the last picnic, but on the other side of the grove of trees to stay away from the wind. This is an old house that we're beside.
Katja lounging in her chair, none too happy that her hands are inside that snowsuit, but too cool to let them out for long!
A view the other way from the old house, a very nice view in the summer too. And the old truck in the distance - a must for spring picnics as the road is a bit soft in places.

Feel free to come out to visit and we'll take YOU on a nice picnic too!

Sewing and such...

Sewing on Grandma's lap on the last day of Missionary Sewing. She was quite entranced (if that's a word) with the loud machine, but of course wanted to stick her fat little paws in there - which is a no-no with sewing. She made it out alive though.
Out at Grandma's again, only this time Mommy was sewing a dress for me for this summer...that's why I look so naked, as I was trying it on for size.
My little piglet, staring in wonder at her zipper pull - she loves them.

"Charmed, I'm sure."

Easter Weekend

Down in Minot, ND, at the hotel pool - our little fish takes to water like a ....uh, fish to water?! :) Yup, really. Though the pool was pretty cool temp. she still had a great time splashing with both Mommy and Daddy.
This is her before she "jumped in"...there was no turning back after that, she just wanted to swim!
Easter Sunday, at Grandma and Grandpa's, opening her Easter gifts. Here she's pulling her poor bunny's ears, but saved the chocolate to share with her parents...how sweet of her, eh?
And here we are, on the love seat at Randy and Marilyn Logues, just before dinner Sunday afternoon. Trev is sitting tall while I slouch, so it's not the best picture, but anyway...there we are.
