Mercy Me concert

The group of us that went down for the Mercy Me concert last Thursday, in order:
Trev, Liz, Terralyne and Nolan (Miller), Christie and Jon (Parker)

Aaron Shust, the first performer was VERY good. They were selling all their cd's for $10 each so we bought his current one and ordered his soon to be released one that will come free shipping and autographed for $10... not bad eh?
He was very good, a beautiful voice in real life for sure!

Next, Audio Adrenaline. Would've been better if they hadn't showed up, but that's just my opinion. You could hardly hear what they were...singing? Or, shouting?
Crowd pleasers but not my type.
Notice the big blond mohawk on the right.

Finally, Mercy Me. We didn't get many good shots of them, even though we were in the 5th row from the front. We had a great view, but they were more spread out.
This is a shot of the final song at the end when they released all these pieces of paper with Mercy Me on them. It was a great ending to a good concert.

By the way, Katja spent the time with Grandma Griffin for those 13 hours and she was FINE! Out first time leaving her and it was great. We might just do it again some time! :)

First winter picnic!

Here is Katja sitting enjoying her first winter picnic down near the river. She was a happy little girl, sleeping while we ate then happy to sit and watch Daddy make marshmellows.

Our fire site - notice how deep the fire has "fallen" since we started it on top of the snow. It makes it hard to get good coals for toasting marshmellows when it keep melting the "ground".

The run-off produced some deep ruts in the road. If we'd got stuck we'd've been hooped for sure!

Trev showing how deep they are! And we thought ruts like this were only in Zambia!!
